1. Introduction Welcome to Liquid Connect (a division of LiquidHost). By using our website and purchasing our services (including Fibre, LTE, Web Hosting, and Web Design), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Provision of Services & Coverage

• Internet Services: All Fibre and LTE connections are subject to network coverage and availability at your physical address. While our automated coverage check is highly accurate, final installation is dependent on the underlying infrastructure provider (e.g., Vumatel, Openserve, MTN). If installation is not possible, any connection fees paid will be fully refunded.

• Speeds: Internet speeds advertised are "up to" speeds. Liquid Connect operates on a best-effort basis, and speeds may fluctuate based on network congestion and environmental factors.

  
  

3. "Business in a Box" & Web Services

• Setup Fee: The R1,499 once-off setup fee includes the registration of one (1) .co.za domain name and the design of a standard one-page website.

• Monthly Hosting: Following the initial setup, web hosting is billed at R99 per month.

• Domain Ownership: The domain name remains the property of the client, provided all billing accounts are settled and up to date.

  
  

4. Hardware (Routers)

• Any hardware purchased through Liquid Connect, including Wi-Fi routers, carries a standard 12-month manufacturer's warranty.

• Hardware will only be dispatched once full payment has cleared.

• Routers damaged by lightning, power surges (load shedding), or physical negligence are not covered under warranty.

  
  

5. Billing and Payments

• Invoicing: All monthly subscriptions (Internet and Hosting) are billed in advance.

• Non-Payment: Failure to pay by the due date will result in the suspension of services (including internet connectivity and website hosting) until the account is settled.

• Pro-Rata Billing: Your first month of internet service may be billed on a pro-rata basis depending on the date of activation.

  
  

6. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) By using Liquid Connect internet or hosting services, you agree not to engage in:

• Illegal downloading, piracy, or distribution of copyrighted material.

• Sending unsolicited bulk emails (Spam).

• Hosting malicious code, malware, or phishing sites. Violation of the AUP will result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

  
  

7. Cancellations

• Month-to-month internet services require a one-calendar-month calendar written notice for cancellation.

• If a Fibre line is cancelled within the first 12 months, the underlying infrastructure provider's claw-back installation fee may be passed on to the customer.

  
  

8. Privacy and POPIA Compliance Liquid Connect respects your privacy. We collect and process your personal information (such as ID numbers and addresses required for RICA and installation) strictly in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We will never sell your data to third parties.
